thanks mbmusic. I don't know what the problem was but now I can hear my audio playback. Must be something quirky. I never have these problems in Logic. OhOh I just opened up a can of worms !!!

Just updated to DP 4.61 using a PB G4 with 10.39. When I record audio and try to play it back there is no sound. I can see the wave file but can't hear anything. Is there a new little trick in this version to hear audio. I'm using coreaudio i/o.

I have dp4.12 and need to change the file to mp3 to burn to cd. What's the easiest way to do this with this version of dp. I see in dp 4.5 and above you can bounce to mp3 format. I will be upgradeing shortly but in the meantime how can I do this.

Does anyone know of a plugin in DP4 or elsewhere that can seperate the lyrics from the music or vice versa. I'm trying to do remixes of old school and new school music tracks.

I have 24 tracks of audio wave files to import into DP. The audio imports into the soundbites window. Then I have to drag 1 soundbite file at a time into the audio tracks.
