Best way to convert file to mp3 in DP 4.12?

Best way to convert file to mp3 in DP 4.12?

I have dp4.12 and need to change the file to mp3 to burn to cd. What's the easiest way to do this with this version of dp. I see in dp 4.5 and above you can bounce to mp3 format. I will be upgradeing shortly but in the meantime how can I do this.

Yes, iTunes. First produce an AIF, SD2 or WAV in DP, then convert in iTunes. Why? Because exporting from DP to MP3 takes way too long... orders of magnitude slower than iTunes. That's my experience, anyway.
