Yes! I forgot to mention this--this is such an important missing feature for me--The mute soundbites tool should be able to mute MIDI notes as well.•••I also like the idea of a mute tool for individual MIDI notes, nice for developing grooves etc.

Thank you for the link to suggestions@motu.com. I will be sure to email them. I believe every effort should be made to make the DAW efficient, stable and crash-free before efforts are made to expand the functionality. This is a basic principle that many software developers do not subscribe to and th...

DP6 Wishlist
The biggest priority for me would be greater efficiency with VI's at low buffer settings. Sidechain support of AU's Automatable track mute/solo with MIDI CC's. Overall stability. What I DON'T want: More included VI's More included Plugins There are plenty of 3rd party VI's and plugins that are much ...

Move Counter to Memory End (F2)
How does one move the counter to memory end?
I thought it would be the command "Enter Counter in Memory End" (F2) but this actually moves the memory end to the counter position instead of vice versa, which IMO makes that command incorrectly phrased.

Well, I'd have to test this to be sure, but I think it's possible to have a range selected, and to shift-click notes outside the range. Shooshie right, i tried that but when i shift click outside the selected range, the selected range becomes unhighlighted (notes still selected, but timeframe not h...

Selection goes beyond selected area
okay i cant seem to figure out why this is happening-- I am selecting the area in the memory cycle, which is just over 1 bar, so that i can scale the time down to 1 bar exactly. When i select the memory area in one of my tracks it selects the notes past the area I've selected as well. Therefore when...

Anybody using a UC-33 or 33e contorller with DP?
Just got one of these great contollers, but how do you set it up to control devices in DP? I have it connected by USB, and it shows up in the Audio MDI Setup page with the ports on the bottom of the device icon box, same as how USB MIDI interface shows up (Devices such as synths and modules have the...

Automating track mutes with MIDI
What is the simplest way to automate track mutes with MIDI? Reading prior posts on this forum I am hearing that it will have to involve custom consoles? I find it surprising that such a basic feature is so involved, but if it must involve custom consoles, how do you do it?
