Selection goes beyond selected area

Post by dubwon »

okay i cant seem to figure out why this is happening--

I am selecting the area in the memory cycle, which is just over 1 bar, so that i can scale the time down to 1 bar exactly.

When i select the memory area in one of my tracks it selects the notes past the area I've selected as well. Therefore when I go to region>scale time, the area it shows for scaling is past the area I actually selected.

Below shows that the note after the highlighted area is selected even though it is not in the highlighted area.

Why is this happening?

Well, I'd have to test this to be sure, but I think it's possible to have a range selected, and to shift-click notes outside the range.

right, i tried that but when i shift click outside the selected range, the selected range becomes unhighlighted (notes still selected, but timeframe not highlighted anymore.)
