Anybody using a UC-33 or 33e contorller with DP?

Just got one of these great contollers, but how do you set it up to control devices in DP? I have it connected by USB, and it shows up in the Audio MDI Setup page with the ports on the bottom of the device icon box, same as how USB MIDI interface shows up (Devices such as synths and modules have their ports on the top of the icon box. I tried connecting its ports to all the devices in the audio MIDI setup page but it still doesnt show up amongst the input devices in the tracks window.

I looked in the Control Surface Setup also but no luck there. Can anyone help?

here's what my audio MIDI setup looks like right now (not that this really gives much info... i tried connecting the uc33 to se1x and s950 in this window but it did not help.):
