check your audio bundles....make sure the top most output bundle is a bundle that is the one your audio out is hooked up to (i.e. perhaps, main out 1&2).... this happened to me recently!!! it should work

it is the itunes streaming format....podcast and internet streams. there is a quicktime "plug in" that you can encode with, check out the quicktime site

presonus inspire worked well for me, bought it when my 828 took a s**t, kept me going until repair was done, 200 beans, firewire, not the apogee fidelity, but solid performance....no MIDI

i too had this problem....for me it was noise when i moved the mouse or when scrolling, ie when anything changed on the screen. turned out it was an external firewire hard drive!!! the manufacturer said it was not possible, but when removed from the mac the noise went away.....try rmoving external d...

dp can definitly handle more than 16 tracks.....i think there is an issue with your system (btw 10.3? or 10.4?) or perhaps there is an audio unit that dp doesn't like (which is stupid, but a possibility)...eliminate plugins, then add back in one at a time and see if you can find the offender (a PITA).

very possible there is a modulation in the sound itself that is being hi-lighted by the resonance in the filter.
i find this in many digital sounds....its all about the 1's and 0's!!!!

Yes I have. The problem is not changing it but saving it when I go back in after closing dp down and the time signature that I like has reverted back to the one I do not care for. hi please xplain...what is the time sig you care for? and have you tried making the time sig you care for a default tem...

No I didn't save them. It is unfortunate so now I will try to regain what I had. I have been successful at repairing one of the problems that I am having is resetting the time signiture to the one I like. I can not find where I do this. Any suggestions. Thanks did you not ask about time signature? ...
