I'm not sure what else to suggest except this...
go to studio/bundles/output tab...
make sure your audio interface "main outputs" is at the very top of the list.
I use a MOTU Traveler, and the analog 1-2 has to be at the top of the list for the speaker icon to be heard.

check your audio bundles....make sure the top most output bundle is a bundle that is the one your audio out is hooked up to (i.e. perhaps, main out 1&2).... this happened to me recently!!! it should work

Monkey Man OS Error -149. Brain cannot process word-lenghts longer than 24 bits.
Reboot and consult manufacturer.
