I figured it out. You have to go into DP8 preferences/plugins/
Then you have to enable the plugin that isn't showing up. Now it works perfectly.

Re: DP8 64 bit and altiverb 7 Help!
You don't have to remove the MAS component for Altiverb. Mine is still sitting there. It isn't seen by DP, but it's there. I remember having trouble getting Altiverb AU to show up initially, but it soon worked itself out. I don't remember how. There were SO many issues to deal with, the last thing ...

Re: DP8 64 bit and altiverb 7 Help!
Did you pull the Altiverb related MAS file out of the MAS folder and put it in another place like the desktop? If the MAS file is still in place,Altiverb will not run as a AU plug,Altiverb will still try to run as an MAS plug. Also am I understanding correctly, after you installed the AU inspection ...

DP8 64 bit and altiverb 7 Help!
I can't get DP8 to see my altiverb plugin. I was told by audio ease that the MAS plugin won't work with 64 bit until altiverb 7.1 arrives. In the meantime, they told me to install the audio unit of altiverb 7.0.5 because DP8 will recognize that version in 64 bit. I installed the audio unit successfu...

I'm having the same issue. Even without doing anything, I get duplicate bidule channels. Have you found a solution yet?

64 bit...what does it mean?
Hello, Can someone tell me what the benefits of 64 bit are? Does it mean that performer will be able to access a lot more of it's ram within performer? I'm curious because I have 2 slave computers running samples and am thinking about getting a third. If technology is moving in a direction that will...

I talked to the tech and he gave me the following information: midioverlan is especially helpful if you are using gigastudios... 1. connect your macintosh to your gigastudio via ethernet. 2. configure both your macintosh and your gigastudio using the midioverlan software. 3. you will not need to use...

sticking notes solution cont'd
No problem. I will check in regularly. I have been working today and unfortunately, have had a few sticking notes, but it's much much better than it used to be. I probably didn't configure MIDIOVERLAN properly. I will be scheduling a meeting next week with the person who came up with this solution a...

MIDIOVERLAN configuration
Don't worry about networking multiple computers. Just install the program, go through each port within the program and enable the MIDI in, out or both. Name each port. They should correspond with your MIDI interface(s). In my case, I have (2) MIDI time pieces because I have so many samplers, externa...
