I've been using dp for over 20 years, so I'm very familiar with it. I'm on DP7.24 and had a very strange thing happen to me last night. I was working and was hitting some keystrokes and suddenly, I couldn't see any data on my screen (in the tracks window, I couldn't see any MIDI data, i.e. colors or audio data). All of the event list data was gone etc. However, when I play the sequence, I hear everything. The data is there. When I try to go to the audio window, no data appears, but recorded audio is there.
Any ideas? I'm under a deadline and really need some help.
Thanks a lot!
Jason

It sounds like you've accidentally changed the View Fiter setup.

Help! Can't see any data!!!
Ok, this is THE WORST aspect of DP. Cmd-f is standard for Find in many Mac programs. In DP it brings up the Filter dialogue. Somewhat logical but not totally. Not terrible EXCEPT...
The usual instinctive action when a box like that pops up is to hit the enter key to dismiss the box. Do so in the filter dialogue and you filter ALL data. Result: all visual references to MIDI and audio data is filtered. You hear it but can't see it and many DP users have been hit by this very poor GUI design.
MOTU really needs to change this. It's been reported but fallen on dead ears. Either that it's the worst joke ever played on a user base.
To fix it, hit Cmd-f and fix it, the go into the commands window and delete the Mac key for that feature.
