The plug-in suggestion could be of use and try perhaps just going with the default set of plug-ins that come with Dp only........This could possibly shed some more light on this situation. The last thing I would suggest is doing a reinstall of DP. These files are part of a project I've been working...

Thanks for the suggestions. Zapping the pram didn't do it. I did run the standard disk utility repair permissions on the mac. Should I get another 3rd party program?

Any other ideas. I need to punch something this is so tiresome...for three days.

Been happening off and on for days...most of the time it crashes. For awhile it wouldn't even play without crashing. I've been disabling all tracks and then slowly enabling to see if there are some buggy plugin chains. But if I slowly enable them, the file will play.....but I'm back to crashing duri...

Got it!

I disabled all tracks in tracks window. Hit play and then enabled each track while project played. Intermittently hit save. Was waiting for a track to crash the project, but it didn't happen.

DP 7.24 here

I've been saving multiple mixes of the same project. I can't open any of them. It'll roll for a bit and then the wheel comes out...(app not responding).

I can play other projects/mixes but not this one.

Very important song and I can't lose all that work.

How do I get it to play?

In terms of uninstalling the update...I trashed the 7.24 from the applications, but didn't think I could uninstall like I would with install discs.

Anyway, after trashing the 7.24 and then reinstalling it post the discs, I still get the same no authorization nag screen.

I've made a stupid mistake. In my haste of trying to find my DP 7 manual w/ key I mistook the 7.24 update for the whole DP install. So I installed the update and then found my install discs/manual later. So now of course 7.24 won't open any files. I get a pop up that says I don't have the right auth...

I have a black lion modded 002R that I use for D/A. I run DP with that without any problems.
