Trouble with Bussing for submixing

Post by bannerj »

Just bumped from 5.13 to 6. I use submixes extensively throughout my projects. Some of the busses are not making it into DP 6. In fact a few songs won't even work with my master fader. Once I deleted the master fader I got most of my tracks to work, but then there were a few groups that were still silent (I could still see levels on the meters but no sound). So, I deleted those subgroups and then made new busses...still a problem...no sound.

I've noticed this before with 5.13. When i go into the bundles matrix and move the buss number assignments around sometimes the sound would go blank or sometimes I'd only get a mono signal through a stereo pair.

Help!

Some new very weird bugs here: sometimes I can't get sound to pass through my URS CSP plug unless I'm looking at the GUI??? When I hide the GUI the sound goes away?

Try setting your plugs to run in real time

Busses are all working fine here in DP6.02, and I use a lot of busses in my stereo and 5.1 mixes.

Cheers

I too have had buses quit working in a project, but still be fine in another similar project (same template).
I haven't taken the time to figure out what the deal is yet.

Sorry, "real time"? What do you mean?

Either check Run This Instance in Real Time on the plugin dropdown menu, or have a look at Preferences>Audio Plugins

Without this plugins are pre-rendered when the window is closed, and maybe there is a problem with this plugin, I personally don't have this one!

Cheers
