hi dagnome... i had this problem a while back too... and what made it worse was that it was an exchanged unit for mine which couldn't power up. what i did was take off all the connections to the unit, flick the power switch up and down a few times... plug the FW cable back in and lo and behold... it...

i use a behringer BCF2000 and a wacom tablet... much easier to do things with the pen since i'm a leftie...

recently acquired a shuttlepro... but it's mainly for FCP edits... works with DP too so it's a plus again...

seems like i'm a control freak... haha!

dang...

now everything works fine... strange...

but the scary thing is... what if this thing happens to me again... this time when i'm actually doing a live production... then i'm screwed!

can anybody suggest a fail safe method?

Dang... what woes have come upon me?!! I got my MOTU replacement (first one was a power issue)... treated my new unit with XXXTLC... all my powerlines are regulated and surge protected... nice, clean room and safe audio signals going in... everything you could ever think of to take care of this baby...

place the insertion point where you want it. Then go to the Selection fields in the Tracks Overview, and double-click either "Start" or "End." If you want more tracks selected in the same range, just shift-click on the tracks you want. Shooshie hey Shooshie, thanks for the heads...

hi all, i wonder if DP (4.61 or 5) has this feature... i'm a film NLE editor so i can understand and say how much slide editing is for us... when using MOTU i wish that that feature was included too... i would like to know if you can select all soundbites from a specific point on the timeline to shi...

looks good this Black Lion thingy... do let us know how it sounds once it's done... MOTU's warranty is only 90 days so it doesn't really matter personally. but the question is what if one day your MOTU hardware goes blink... who do you send it to? MOTU normally takes back faulty products and replace...

the faders in cuemix only affects the levels of each channel sent to each buss outputs on your MOTU hardware for monitoring purposes.
