can the timepiece do this for me?

Hi Guys, I'm currently using an old Opcode Studio 5LX in my setup. It works like a charm, no problem with that. But it's old, I need a very old mac to program it, I have no frontpanel options and its a bit too big for the setup I use it for (input/output wise). So I'm looking for something to replac...

Re: Using DP for Live Performance - Suggestions?

Re: DP 6 GUI - What do you think of it?

I really love it! The workflow is so much better now as is the layout of the panels and the color scheme. I really like the new mixer looks and the new functionality makes DP6 a killer app! I like it much more then dp5.

Im glad they made some very good interface tweaks and make it behave better. Kudos for this ! I see the usage of better knobs, improvement on the mixingdesk (the buttons for the sends where a bit tiny), better layout, the use of a cardstack for the modes etc. Good stuff :)

the 2882 + dsp is very good and rock solid. DSP is very useful and sounds good. Orpheus isn't shabby either. Maybe even better sounding... But its just out and the 2882 is proven over the years...

how about kawai? To be honest, I never liked the touch from kurzweil. Just too light for my liking. I tried other stuff like yamaha aswell, same story... My Ensoniq KS32 plays heavy ! But I like it and gives me some more dynamics. It seems that Kawai has very good boards which should outperform the ...

rewriting the GUI doesnt do anything to the functionality of the program itself. It only changes the access to the functions. Its more about starting from scratch and program a new digital performer and use a new program structure to m ake updates more modular and thus faster updatable. Only small &...
