The strip silence command is a nice tool as well....

If you're tracking vocals with a compressor, you might be adding volume to the headphone bleed during spots without vocals. Something to ponder perhaps.

I opened an old DP 3.11 project in 6.02. It consists of 2 songs and about ten chunks per song. One song is fine. The second song plays back, but the chunks are not shown in the song window in their respective positions. I'm hoping it's user error - but it's really strange to hear the song play back ...

Have an mp3 or cd audio back-up in case disaster stikes during the show.

I used to use an 828 with dp 3 no problem. Worked quite well.

The factory acoustic bass that comes with mach V 2 is comparable. In fact, personally speaking I think it's a little grittier than the trilogy acoustic - which I like.

Reinstall 5.1. Open project you wish to recover. Save a copy as DP 4.6. Should do it.

Same problem here. I import files from another studio all the time. I have to keep a written log of files when I'm importing them since the audition function is totally hit or miss.
