Can I ask a favour please?
I have not been using DP on a regular basis since migrating to Logic as a work requirement. I had given up on DP5 since consistent and unbearable crashes. My workflow usually revolves around using multiple VI's say 7-8. Then real time effects on a number of these tracks. In DP 5 I could barely get p...

Check MAS plug ins on Intel
OK so I have had my dinner and calmed a little. If someone with an Intel machine would try this test, I would be grateful. One track running a Masterworks compressor in REAL TIME on a track with digital silence i.e a STEM. Then compare the CPU hit against those parts of the STEM with an audio record...

Oddities you may already have experienced
OK so first up I am still having periodic crashes on my Mac Mini Dual Core 1GB. I have noticed that when closing effects windows with it running in pre-render then i lose the entire timing wit the the rest of the sequence and have to hit stop and restart. I have also found that an existing sequence ...

I left a project out overnight with only native plug ins installed (I know PPC are not making a difference) I had one bus operating sending to a SPDIF o/p with a return aux open and some basic audio I had started editing. To my surprise the project was still open so I have been trying a few things. ...

Yes I trashed everything and re-installed, I disconnected an external hard drive I re-installed the MOTU firewire software for my 828MK2 and I am still experiencing problems. I loved the power of DP5 under Rosetta, I was slavering at the thought of UB. I will continue to run down the possibilities. ...

Yes good thought.. I have been examining process viewer and found that Microsoft AU Daemon was running, which is the blasted Microsoft Office Auto Update feature. I have disabled that and removed from the start up items at login, since then DP...bastard.... I was just about to say it has stayed open...

Constant Crashing on Intel MacMini
I updated to the UB 5.1 on my Mac Mini Core Duo 1GB RAM. I have very few UB AU's. So far I have been unable to keep DP5.1 open for very long. It is constantly crashing, even if I just leave it doing nothing. This is pants because it was running better under Rosetta. I have trashed prefs moved AU's i...

When I solo a track in the mixing board and then take it out of solo I get complete silence until I hit the overall solo button in the menu bar as well. Playback drops out a lot when I am navigating round the arrangement and as described by some of the posts here it takes a start stop or a long paus...

I am in agreement with Matwell, can take or leave them and undoubtedly will use them when I need x y or z. I have a lot of NI stuff including Reaktor and Battery 2. I feel the drum machine comes with very poor sounds and patches and I dont feel the need to spend time programming it as the CPU hit on...

Create a HUI in AMS
As the HUI does not have a USB input it will not work unless you create a HUI in AMS(Audio MIDI Setup) and connect it to the Behringer ports in AMS.
Then it will work
Then it will work
