I was quite happy with Sonar 4 - 6.2 and using Motu hardware but based upon the poor quality of the 896HD and support we are going to most likely switch to the ProTools HD system.

Sounds like interface as in maybe the card or the input device. I have had (2) 896HD and 1 828mkII go bad that do a similar thing when the firewire goes out.

I believe i figured out our sync issues...it appears our 896HD is dead..again arg.
