Anyone running a new Macpro with DP8?
I would love to hear some stories about the new macpro with DP8. How well does it perform? Which HDs are you using for recording and streaming VIs? Has anyone had luck installing a PCIe 424 card? Thanks in advance to anyone with some stories to tell.

Re: Anyone using Thunderbolt PCIe expansion?
Here is the answer I received:( Hello Alejandro, The 2408mkII will not be compatible with a thunderbolt connection. For the new MacPro we do suggest using either a firewire or thunderbolt based audio interface. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Sarah Chauvin (MOTU) Customer Servi...

Hey Phil O these settings really help! I was having a hard time with a session that kept crashing and after changing the settings it worked fine.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: DP8 : No more Reverse plug-in? Shortcut?
Am I the only one that wishes there was a shortcut for this plugin? I have looked at the shortcut list to see if I could create one but couldn't find it. When I work on a project that I use a lot of reverse sounds I hate going through the menus. Has anyone found a way around this?

Buffer size hidden is vey annoying
Wouldn't it be nice to have the buffer size displayed right next to the Clocksource, Sample rate etc, etc.? A dropdown menu just the way you can select your clocksource, samplerate etc would be soooo convenient. I hate opening the Configure Hardware setup only to notice that the buffer size is alrea...

Tube Wailer Vs TS9 and TS9DX Test results
I just ran a few tests comparing the Tube wailer with the TS9 Tube Screamer modified by Robert Keely and the TS9DX Turbo Tube Screamer. PSP makes some very good plugs as well. Their plugins range from very nice sounding Mastering plugs to very weird fx. Download a demo and I am sure you will like them.

Re: 1024 to 256 is hidden in the submenus
Is there an easier way to switch buffer settings or would anyone agree that it would be nice to have a button on the control panel to do this. At least you can use a key binding for Hardware Setup so you don't need to navigate through menus to get to it. Look for it in the command window. I know it...

1024 to 256 is hiidden in the submenus
I don't know if I am the only one switching between buffer settings. If you want to play a Virtual instrument you have to select at least 512 even in DP6 and if you want to mix with lots of plugins you have to switch to 1024 (That is all I get on my G5). I don't like the fact that MOTU took away the...
