Suggestions for next DP update

• What's possible with Option A (audio assignments) regarding audio tracks, should be possible for MIDI tracks and sends as well.

• my long time request, a solo button in the SE, by each track.

Tab to transient has been on the top of my list for a long time.

Comping MIDI tracks would be nice. Especially if it were "smart" so as to finish open-ended controllers if other controller of the same type do not follow. (Sustain pedals, for instance.)

• mute MIDI notes
• a quicker way to pencil in, different CCs one after the other.

(like if you pencil in a MIDI track an adjustment on expression, then you want a little adjustment on the modulation etc... it becomes sort of a pain to have go through the mebus and select.) If you need to do this very often, you'll perfectly understand my point. 8)

Just highlight and delete... then ⌘Z he he. There's your MIDI note mute.

It would be useful these features:

- Go To Next/Previous frame.
- Set Region Start/Sync Point/End to playhead.
- Play movie in fullscreen on secondary monitor.
- Movie follow nudge edition.

A preference choice between different pan laws :
center -3 dB (I won't have any use of this one, I guess)
center -4.5 (actual DP pan law, AFAICR)
center -6 dB (this one would fit most of my projects)

BTW, I've already sent this suggestion to Motu.

If you click on any controller point in the SE, you will instantly be able to edit it.
Especially nice if you are working in Lines mode.

Such a simple, tremendously useful function.
God bless 'em, but I just don't think MOTU gets it - I mean, 7 versions in and no solo in SE?

As an alternative option, I'm pretty sure you can use a keyboard shortcut to engage Solo Mode, and then you can click the play enable buttons to designate which tracks are soloed or even option click the play button of one particular track to solo just that track.
