Soundbite "Move-to" command
Hey all, I've been searching in vain for a while on this topic, but I'm sure it's buried somewhere in the MN vaults... I'm using DP 7.22 to add some sounds to a film. Workflow-wise, it would be really great if I could add a soundbite to a track, and then type in on some tab the exact timecode I want...

repairing 828 headphone jack
Hey everyone! I have an 828mkII that I love. However, recently I was experimenting with a new studio layout and had my headphones plugged into the 828 when I bumped the headphone plug! The jack in the 828 moved a bit and is now sort of loosey goosey. It's still inside the case and works and all that...

Re: 828 MKII driver trickery and weirdness
Hey again everyone, so here is a little update: I borrowed the Edirol FA-101 from my work and a very similar thing happened to what I described above with the 828 and the Ultralight, though without the high pitched noise through the speakers... This makes me thing there is something wrong with the O...

828 MKII driver trickery and weirdness
Hello everyone. I looked around this board to try and find a similar problem but I could not, so here goes. I own an 828 MKII and I've recently been having an issue with it. I primarily use Ableton Live, Digital Performer and sometimes Bias Peak, and the Quicktime player to prievew audio files, on a...

very strange crackles that show up in bounce
Hi there, I'm running DP5.13 on a Macbook. I have an 828mkII that I use at home, and I frequently bring my laptop to the studio where I work and use the Ultralight they have there. I've noticed a strange clicking/crackling noise that recently recorded tracks frequently have, especially if I move the...

strange "Missing" MIDI note issue
Hi there, I'm running DP 5.12 on an Intel Macbook running OSX 10.4.11 I don't use MIDI too frequently, but I've come across this weird issue: DP seems to 'filter' out the MIDI note F#2. I've checked the input filter parameters as well as used both a USB MIDI Keyboard and a separate MIDI keyboard goi...

Multiple audio interfaces at the same time in DP?
I know that it's a long shot, but I have my 828mkII plugged into my laptop via firewire and an Edirol fa-101 plugged into my 828 via firewire. DP can use both of them independently, but not at the same time, which is what I want to try and do. I would use the edirols optical in/out to just communica...

A "Just making sure" question
Hello, I was wondering, based on other posts I've seen on this forum, It looks like an 828 or an 828 mkII can be chained to any other digital recorder similar to it, such as the Edirol Fa101: http://www.zzounds.com/item--EDIFA101 via their Optical IN/Outs... regardless of brand. and used together......
