A "Just making sure" question

Post by bankbot »

Hello, I was wondering, based on other posts I've seen on this forum, It looks like an 828 or an 828 mkII can be chained to any other digital recorder similar to it, such as the Edirol Fa101: http://www.zzounds.com/item--EDIFA101 via their Optical IN/Outs... regardless of brand. and used together...

Is this totally true?

Well I don't know about totally. I can only speak for my equipment. I have two 828s that work seamlessly with my Apogee Rosetta 800. As for other interfaces, well....

Ok, that's good to know. Has anyone had specific experience with an 828 mk one or two interfacing with an Edirol Fa101?
