I was encouraged by your Eucon 1.3.0 report recently, but I suppose some OS updates can alter the way it accepts or retains install info or even maintains permissions. That has happened to me with other drivers and plugins in 10.5.6 and earlier. In most cases I just reinstalled whatever was disappearing. In one case a certain developer had to release a fix.

I will need to read about it before I try the update, it would be cool if it fixed the MIDI drag and drop problem.

So is this the final update to Leopard? If so, does that mean DP 6.03 is not far behind, with DP 7 coming sometime after the release of Snow Leopard?

Installed 10.5.7 on a partition. I'm having absolutely no problems with it. I'm ready to install on my main drive!

Yes DP6.03.1 will be out next week and Dp 7 will be out in the spring.

Apparently Euphonix released 1.3.1 already which fixes the problems with 10.5.7.

I just wish I could go back to Leopard at all. If someone could tell me if DP6/PPC/10.5.7 might work with FM7/FM8 or most importantly Kontakt Player 2, I'd appreciate it!

Just tried it, James, and no go on the K2 player. K3 works fine. I do believe the K2 player is probably a dead issue over at MOTU. I'm guessing they might not care as much as the easy fix is using the K3 player. Maybe if they had spare time to look at it, but there is probably a lot more to do in terms of fixing code.

I don't have FM7/FM8.

I'd like to miss it in place of a new machine, but alas, other priorities prevail... :)

Is your G5 the April / May 2005 model with the PCI bus ?(not PCI-x, etc.) Looks a lot like my setup but I've stayed at 10.4.11 because Waves 4 wouldn't work on 10.5. I've WUP'd to 6, so if Korg, GPO, UAD works ... I can catch up

How can I tell? I won it from Macworld so didn't make an 'informed' decision.
