MIDI: you're correct, but once I got PLAY Platinum I went ahead and put back the audio bundle from version 6 since I won't be using Kontakt anymore for orchestral stuff.

How exactly does pre-rendering work? I've been messing around with it and it seems to greatly reduce the CPU usage upon playback, but when I go to record a track it shuts off pre-rendering and loads the instruments up again and goes back into real-time. Does it only work on playback and not recordin...

thanks martian. oh, I forgot to mention that the reason I'm using the 4.61 MAS bundle is because DP6 crashes immediately when trying to open Kontakt 2 with the version 6 bundle. But you're right, perhaps the bundle from version 5 would solve it....
