Missing Plugins after OS reinstall

So, my HD lost sectors and I had to reinatll OSX. I used the option to keep user accounts and settings, but my original user accounts were not availible (though the user folders are still there). DP (5.11) launches and runs, but it shows no plug ins of any kind. I read that plug in information is li...

Yes, I have seen it and I guess whoever made the samples wanted to give us as much of the sound as possible. It doesn't affect every sound, so when i find one that pops, I just save it as a new bank name with the new decay set.

Do you mean like in the Markers window? That sounds like exactly what you are talking about.

Yeah, it seems the gate set to 100% is too long for the samples. I guess they didn't trim them very well. FOr the really long patches, setting the gate to up to 31 % cut back does the trick. Thanks, Jarok!

Pops in Module 12?

Hi all! I already have Battery, so when I got the upgrade to DP 5, the little pops that I got at the end of long decay samples in Module 12 didn't bother me too much. Now, with the extra patches included with 5.11, it is starting to annoy me. Silly me, I thought maybe it would be fixed with the upgr...

I think(I'm not at my Mac at the moment) that you can just drag the Vrack chuck right from the chunks window in the old project to the desktop, then drag it into the chunks window in the new project.

If I'm understanding what the original question was.

I think the manual is fairly comprehensive, but it can be daunting because of it's size and the amount of info it provides. I think it's well written, but as a new user of the program, I would like to have seen more in the way of step by step tutorials. Once I got my legs under me, though, it was fi...

Bump ... No one has seen anything like this? I emailed MOTU support and I'm waiting to hear back from them, though it looks like calling might be my best bet.

Thanks in advance.

LAME bit rate issue

Hi all. I just got the LAME Framework installed and it doesn't seem to be working on bit rates above 96. Everything below exports fine, but above that I get this error: Mas, 0 error reported by L.A.M.E MP3 Audio Export Plugin: lame_init_params not called [-1] I've searched the manual and here on the...
