Hi all! I already have Battery, so when I got the upgrade to DP 5, the little pops that I got at the end of long decay samples in Module 12 didn't bother me too much. Now, with the extra patches included with 5.11, it is starting to annoy me. Silly me, I thought maybe it would be fixed with the upgrade.
So here is what is happening, when I trigger any long decay sample, typically a kick drum or specially effect, in nearly any preset library in Module 12, there is a definate "pop" at the end of the sound. It's akin to the sample not ending cleanly, I guess. I have played around with buffer settings, with no change and it does not seem to matter if the sound is triggered by keyboard or sequence, and yes if I freeze the track, the pop is still there.
I am running the latest/greatest OSX, DP and have a PPC 2x2 with 2.5 GB ram, and a MOTU Traveler as my audio interface. No other plug seems to do this either whether 3rd party or any of the MOTU soft synths. In fact, my system is (knock on wood) pretty solid, I don't seem to have any crashing or DP doing things it's not supposed to. I did a search on Unicornation, but haven't found any other complaints in the forums.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Pops in Module 12?
