Hello all, We are at last upgrading our studio :D We have a G4 dual 1GHz Quick Silver, 1.5Gb RAM, 2 Glyph 10K 36Gb external SCSI drives, Adaptec 2 channel Ultra-Wide PCI card, 17" Apple Studio Display (LCD) w/ ADC, and a MOTU 1296 with a 324 card. My question is what you all think that this rig...

almost there, you just need to get the audio out of the O2 and the other MIDI box into the audio in of the 828.

audiodesk 1 to track, mix in DP3.11?

hey all, rather then waait till i get home to try this, has anyone used audiodesk 1(os9) to track and then opened projects in DP3.11 for edit and mix? Thanks for your help. I am trying to use my iBook w/896 to track and the desktop with DP3 to mix without having to buy DP for the iBook.

Just as an option the Yamaha 01V96 is quite a nice console with the features it sounds like you are after. The price tag @around $2000 is a little hard to justify but I have not found a task my 01V96 cannot tackle.

move on up, we run at 88.2 so the knockdown to 44.1 is easier math for the comp. You will love it, esp. if you do autotune!
