quit type 2 error 3.11 OS9

Hello all, I am having trouble with DP 3.11 on my dual 1gig G4 OS9.2.2. When I try to edge edit a particular sound bit in a particular track DP quits and I get an Error Type 2 message. MOTU tech support told me to try creating a new session, and loading the seq into it, but the same prob I still have, then they said try to reimport the soundbite, still same prob! Any ideas? Thanks.

Isn't type 2 error a memory issue?
Whats your memory allocation for DP?

I have 1 gig memory, and have allocated 272260 to DP

what's your rig like?
