Thank you for confirming!
My MOTU hardware has been rock solid over the years. Too bad MOTU didn't continue the support for these older units.

Re: New Mac Pros with PCIe424
So after reading this it looks like if I want to upgrade, my old MOTU hardware will be retired, which is unfortunate. I was looking to upgrade from my 2010 Mac Pro to the new Mac Studio M2. I'm currently using 3 MOTU audio interfaces, MOTU 1296 & 2408 & 2408mk3 connected to the PCIe-424 card...

So the PCIe-424 will work on High Sierra? I'm still on Yosemite but want to start upgrading....

Re: UAD Apollo
Is anyone using an Apollo with MOTU hardware? I've got a 1296, 2408mk3 and 2408. Looking to add an Apollo but unsure about all this would all work together.
Any feedback?

Bounce To Disk with UAD Card
Stephen- I recall this is how I used to do it as well when I was using DP years ago.
Except I think the majority of my mixes back then were being run out into my UAD610 >Fatso hardware and recorded back into DP.

Mach Five iLok
I'm still using the original iLok that came with M5-1. Also holds a lot of other authorizations. Yes, I suppose that would also work. However I don't know if I can use two different versions of iLok on one account? All my current auths are on the iLok v2 with just the Mach 5 on the old green iLok.

Re: Can't Groove Quantize Soundbites
Thanks for the reply. Find Beats I believe is for searching the beats within one soundbite. In this case, my soundbites are individually sliced parts laid out just like individual MIDI notes. I can use the regular quantize function on my soundbites but for some reason Groove Q is not working. Really...

Can't Groove Quantize Soundbites
I've dropped in a simple hihat sample into my Tracks window, laid it out into a machine guy style pattern and trying to apply Groove Quantize. Nothing happens. I can't sort out what the problem is. I used to use this all the time with no issue back in DP4 on soundbites, now using 7.24. What could I ...

Bounce To Disk with UAD Card
Hey guys- i'm just getting back up and running with DP 7.24 after a year of working in Logic. When bouncing to disk in Logic I always chose the 'real time' bounce. (Thought I had read about issues with the UAD plugs working properly if you didn't) In DP I don't see an option for real time bounce and...

Mach Five iLok
I have Mach Five v1 from 2003 with an old iLok that was included. I'm thinking about upgrading to the the new version.
Is a new iLok sent with the upgrade or do I need to transfer my iLok license from the old green iLok to my current iLok which I've been using for other plugs?

Re: 1296 Fan or No Fan?
Pulled the unit out, sprayed the fan (thru the fan holes) with a blast of air and then sprayed some silicone lube into the axle part of the fan. I also put a a piece of blue painters tape on each side of the vents, covering the last vent holes. It seemed to help dampen the vibration a little, cuttin...

1296 Fan or No Fan?
Hey guys- I've got a 10 year old 1296 that I need to do something with the fan- it's loud and whiny and sits very close to my mix position. It's amazing how much quieter my room is when I turn it off. 98% of my use of this unit is simply the AES out to a DAC converter. On a rare occasion I'll track ...
