I've dropped in a simple hihat sample into my Tracks window, laid it out into a machine guy style pattern and trying to apply Groove Quantize. Nothing happens. I can't sort out what the problem is. I used to use this all the time with no issue back in DP4 on soundbites, now using 7.24.
What could I be missing? It's working when I apply it to MIDI data but not on any soundbites.

Re: Can't Groove Quantize Soundbites
I think I've used that command one or two times in the past.
If I remember correctly, DP first needs to know where the "beats" are. Once it knows that, then you can use the command... or something like that
I think (but I'm not sure) you need to do whatever the Find Beats command entails (the DSP workflow).

Re: Can't Groove Quantize Soundbites
Thanks for the reply. Find Beats I believe is for searching the beats within one soundbite.
In this case, my soundbites are individually sliced parts laid out just like individual MIDI notes. I can use the regular quantize function on my soundbites but for some reason Groove Q is not working.
Really disappointed if this is the case and not an oversight on my part as this feature was one on the reasons I wanted to switch back to DP from Logic.
Anyone else know the correct way/answer?
