Re: New iMacs!

I only bought my dual core 3.06 imac in june!
It wouldn't matter so much, but I paid a heck of a lot more than 2 grand for it!

it pains me to know that if I waited I could have had a quad core for more than 500 dollars less.

Re: Does DP7 have a "flex time" or "elastic time" type tool?

I have to say that I LOVE the way these functions are implemented into DP. In my opinion having to split the soundbites gives you better end results than elastic audio in pro tools. It may not be cleaner visually, but it gives me an exact sense of what I'm editing. It works especially well for drum ...

Re: Guitar Sounds in DP 7

The amp and pedals don't sound so great, but I experimented with Liveroom G. I recorded the line-out of a few of my amps directly into an audio track, (which sounds horrible) and then sent the tracks to live room to emulate the cab. Before I go on, I'm going to say of course that recording a real ca...

Re: Honest Opinion about DP Virtual Synths

I think I can safely say that I'll use nanosampler in every project. It's the simplest, yet most useful "VI" I've ever used. I mean, the fact that you can drag and drop ANY audio instance, including recorded parts from your project, and have complete control over basic envelopes and filter...

Re: DP7 - Let's support it

Hoping to get that shipment email tomorrow morning! If anyone gets confirmation, do post it. On another note, if the fact is that they really are backed up with an overload of orders, I guess my original concern was foolish. I hope that's the case, anyway. I'm going to assume this means support will...

Re: DP7 - Let's support it

Thanks for the warm welcome! I placed my order a few minutes ago. Have the rest of you received emails for shipping confirmation and tracking? I imagine most orders that were placed friday have shipped by now. If the reports come in that DP7 is as stable, then I'll jump on the band wagon. So hurry u...

DP7 - Let's support it

I've come to realize through reading other forums that many people will be skipping/not purchasing DP7 because of bugs DP6 had, sudden upgrade/price issues, ect.. While I understand these frustrations, I think it's important to support MOTU's efforts in advancing the software you all use and love. I...
