Apologies for my tardy reply, but I've finally gotten around to playing with Mach Five again and your responses have helped me greatly.

Thank you so much! :)

I'll take the lack of responses to be a "no"? Which goes for me also, as I gave up on using Mach Five as a drum sampler. So aside from using its library "rompler" style, I'm also using it for its Rex capabilities: I love how I can drag either a MIDI or audio loop from a Rex file ...

Re: MachFive 2, worth it for the sounds?

Thoughts? Places to buy that are better than the $369 price? Thanks. The sounds are great, but where did you see $369??? I paid $459 just a couple weeks ago from Sweetwater, and that was the price everywhere I looked... :-/ EDIT: I just checked agaqin: Sweetwater, Audio/MIDI, Musician's Friend all ...

Anyone using M5 2 for drums (drum sampler)?

One of the things I was excited for with M5 2 was its seemingly expansive drum possibilities. Aside from the Loop Lab, I was hoping it would also be useful as a general drum sampler (to use with one shot hits). However, I am having mixed results... Some questions/observations: - Any way to make it s...

Just wanted to give an update: I discovered that certain functions reset the interface, so I don't have to close and re-open all the time. This makes the bug a lot easier to live with! Basically anything that changes the Display Area, like the Tuner, Analyzer, or showing the Mixer. I'm still not sur...

Thanks for the responses and info. :) I have submitted this to MOTU as well, hopefully I'll get a response. Since everything else seems fine I guess this isn't so bad to live with, but it is a bit disapointing. None of my other instruments have this problem! So far my only functional complaint is wh...

Graphics problems on PC

I just got MachFive 2, and while it's functioning perfectly I'm having graphics anomolies/glitches in both of my hosts (Reaper, Live 7) as well as in standalone mode. Basically if the interface goes off screen or if I move it too suddenly it blurs the GUI; closing and re-opening resets it. Also in L...
