Re: MOTU AUDIO EXPRESS - Adjusting the volume, please help!

The main out fader in CueMix FX is for adjusting the local mix of the box (local inputs), not audio from computer. To adjust the overall main volume, press the main knob so the +main LED is lit. Then the Phones Volume knob will adjust the main volume also. There are a few modes of this such as Phone...

Re: Weary of my Traveler and MOTU

Why don't you describe some details in case it is really not broken. What do you do to hear the buzzing?

Re: Motu MIDI Timepiece

The MTP echoes realtime MIDI clocks through the device. MIDI realtime clocks are getting merged and echoed out all ports from multiple devices causing the tempo to be too fast. Either turn off MIDI beat clocks on your devices where you don't need it or use input filtering on the MTP to mute realtime...

Re: Reset of UltraLite mk3?...

The Reset Factory Defaults window at the end of the Setup menu does a full reset on the unit. All of the CueMix parameters, presets, and setup parameters will be set to default. When you connect the computer, CueMix FX and the control panel will reflect the changes.

The UltraLite is a nice interface for a laptop. The MIDI ports are convenient. It sounds like it would be a good fit for your needs.

Did you try plugging the cable into another port on the card? Also, what about a different cable.

The motu boxes need to be set to the correct range when slaving to clock. In your scenario, I don't know what box is locked to what. It is legal to slave a motu system running at 88.2KHz with a word clock running at 44.1KHz, as it is vise versa. Also note that there is a setting on the 828mk3 to hav...

Darrell, There are a few possible solutions but one flexible solution would be to create a stereo audio track or aux track for the proteus. Make the input be Analog 1-2 and the output be Main and set it up so audio will patch thru. This track would typically be used to just monitor (not record) the ...

Hello, It is easiest to use the CueMix console to set it up but you can also do it via the front panel. You should use CueMix console first to better visualize the matrix. Make sure the Optical ports are set for Adat. In CueMix Console, select Bus 1 tab, assign this bus to Adat 1-2 (RH side). Turn u...

There are 4 stereo mix busses on the Traveler which can be assigned to various outputs including the Adat out port. What is the exact routing you need?

Hi Sleddog,

The "m" is MIDI status. The "m" on the top row is MIDI in status and the "m" on the bottom is MIDI out status.

Hi Dave,

It was unclear if you updated the driver or just reinstalled the original. Make sure you download the latest firewire drivers.
