Quick question.

If i were to hook up the 828mkIII to my PCIe 424 card would the system processing be on the 828 or the PCI?

Also can the 828 generate (output) and sync to time code?

Now let me ask how do the expansion units clock to each other?
I am picking up a 24io and another 2408 to go with my single 2408.
Will be recieving ADAT from two sources. How does this all work? Who slaves to who?

I am seeming to have a hard time finding out.

Can i just add this to one of the empty Firewire slots on my card? Will they work together and clock together?

I have like 25 exs 24 tracks open in my template. streaming video to second monitor. 2 general reverbs, a few logic full electric piano strips, 8 stemmed audio stereo. runs like a charm

Using a 24 inch with 500 GB and 3 GB ram upgrade with logic.

Works very well.

I only use QS as a reference. For example when i am overdubbing something and forgot what I had previously improvised I can open QS and look at the upcoming score and overdub the next line with no harmonic mistakes. I never checked but can QS export as pdf score?

All this PDF talks lately has had me thinking. Since DP has been generous for many years with their lack of registration encryptions etc... Maybe they do not need it.
