so what happens is: i'm in DP 6.02 on tiger... i make a new session... i record enable a track, and start recording. the audio is greyed out (i see the soundbite but not the waveform) and my audio files folder is still empty...
weird...

when i open an old DP5 session in DP6, i can record.
when i start a new DP6 session, the audio files are greyed out and my audio files folder stays empty. i use a MOTU ultralite and have OSX Tiger.
i can import audio without a problem.

i can start new sessions but the ones i saved in tiger on another computer crash... very annoying.

hi i found this thread with the search funtion. i have a new mac pro octo and DP 5.13 + motu ultralite. there was a lot of digital crackling when i had a loop copied a few times (on the same track). and just like mentioned above, when i did 'merge soundbites' it was over... is there a proper solutio...

I had that problem when I first installed Leopard. I don't know where the problem was but in frustration I started from scratch and re-installed both Leopard and DP and the problem went away. Your topic title says "Leopard" but your post says you're running Tiger on both machines: i have a G5 with a motu ultralite and a mac pro with a motu ultralite. one has tiger, the other the latest tiger version. :?: sorry you're right. i meant leopard on the mac pro! cheers, i'll edit it.
