I should have done the plugin troubleshooting but for some reason I did not think it was that. And it wasn't. It was a MIDI driver. Not sure which one, I just moved everything out of the MIDI Drivers folder.

I have heard of Jack. I have AudioHijack Pro which has similar functionality. I may try that.

By the way, I am on a G5 Powermac.

Anyway, MOTU should give us an upgrade with an option to put L/R computer audio on 7 & 8 or something. Just an unbelievable omission.

I'm trying to use a subwoofer in my setup with my 828mkII. I can make a bus in DP or logic that outputs to an 828 analog out that would go into my sub, but I would like to set it up so that the sub is always on and acting as support for my stereo speakers.... this way, I wont be mixing with the sub...

Thanks, but it doesn't help me. I want the output from apps such as iTunes to show up in Mix2 so that I can route it to the subwoofer on outputs 3&4. The DAW is another issue and I can probably deal with that.

Just looked at this again. I can route video audio on inputs 3&4 to outputs 3&4. I cannot find anyway to route the computer output coming in on firewire to outputs 3&4. So the question is "Why does the computer output via firewire not show up in the Ultralite's mixer?" Anybody?...

It does seem strange. I updated CueMix and the Ultralite firmware with no change. I spent some hours in the middle of last night playing with this. Robert - Thanking you indeed. Nice to finally hear from someone that may have done it. So - there are no sync issue's then via the optical? Are you using channels from the 896 and 002 in conjunction for simultaneous recording? Kinda need to know before buying.... Cheers. I did it only as a test and...

I took one of the optical outs (sorry don't remember which) on my 896 and feed that to my 002R and told the 002 to clock off the incoming. Worked perfectly. Waiting on a 003 Factory upgrade. Pretty sure FW is out but optical should work.

I was about to post almost the exact same question. I want to send a mono feed to 3-4 for my sub and cannot find a way to do it. I am going to update the Ultralite firmware and CueMix Console and see what happens.

Hi No it does not solve it. It is still worth it to upgrade DP to 5.11. You will get better performance with it on your MacBook Pro. jarok They should work on that, it is most annoying.
