828 mk II and cuemix fx
Hey all I am on an intel mac, os 10.4.11 and just installed the latest version of Cuemix fx (1.0.4). I cant seem to get the tracks to go into stereo mode. I suspect this could be a trash preferences type fix but seek some guidance before doing this. any thoughts??

Cuemix Crazyness
Hey all I am running Cuemix Fx ver 3.3 with a Motu 828mkII on an intel Mac os 10.4.9. I use the 828mkII as a router for coreaudio in Logic to my protools interface and as a submixer for some analog samplers into the same. I just am finishing installing this system and have noticed that the Cuemix pa...

Its not called Logic for nothing, wait ,nevermind!
I am a LOgic and PT user and can attest that either apple has been holding out for years or has no clue about the fundementals of what is important to pro users. Just today I spent several hours testing a variety of methods to reduce the stereo image of a stereo (eg rex2 loop) track. Since there are...

Name them
Just name them "828_a_1-2" or somthing like that in your autoload song environment layer. I use my 828 to sub mix external samplers and name the input objects according to the instruments on them (eg 828 11-12 which I think without opening Logic is the first pair of ADAT Format is "St...

MOTU 828mkII dropping offline
I have about an 8 month old 828mkII which has just started dropping offline fairly regularly (about every 30 minutes) it will come back if restarted but drops out again. It has worked flawlessly and very stably in the past although I have noticed it dropps out if my comtrol room heats up. I am using...

NO HTDM in Protools 7
Not to be the bearer of bad news but there is no more support for HTDM in protools from 7 on. This has been advertised from the first prerelease notes on PT7. DAE now only supports TDM and RTAS.

sleep the issue?
is this not simply a power saver issue? for my protools cards the power saver must be set to never for the cpu (ok for monitor to sleep) because it screws with the pci buss communication.

your os
one of your protools issues is that you are running at os 10.3.8, and protools le the last versionb 6.4 is only tested with os 10.3.4. A dditionally and you may not want to stomach this there could potentially be an issue with the replacement processor getting along with protools. one of the great t...
