Re: DP7 first impressions
OK, I'll ask again, and maybe more nicely. I'll even make a cake!! Are there any changes to the notation page? Are the chords and lyrics included? Is the page able to handle more than a single line at a time and (oh please) wrap a track to view more? (Note: not the Quickscribe page.) http://midilif...

GUI tweaking
Hello everybody, I'm desperately looking for a way to make the "barline" thinker (or darker) in the Graphic Editor and Sequence Editor. As I get older, I can't really notice the difference between beat 1 and the others... Do you know which attribute affects this in the Default_Style file (...

Re: Any news on 6.02?
agree... and even more if you think about DP's state, and that BPM is programmed by USB in Paris (as most of Motu's latest softwares, DP apart)beautypill wrote:It's a little bit awkward time for MOTU to announce this BPM project when DP is in the state it's in.

Thanks Earl. I'm sorry I tried everything possible but i still can't make it to work. it remains silent. But, just to make sure I get it right... You suggest : console 1 - notes to #7 (MIDI number ranging from 0 to 127) console 2 - #7 to vels Why do you need to get the notes ? I want the velocity to...

well, I can use a slider, but the thing is that it's much easier for me to enter notes with a particular velocity either with the keyboard or step entry and/or reshape them, select them and change globally etc... to do that on a note basis with cc7 is horrible. so, transforming vels into cc7 allows ...

cc7 is set to breath in WIVI in my setup since I want to use mixer to follow what's going on. I thought it was possible to reshape on held notes since between two velocities it would read back what's on the track. console states that it takes over whenever it receives data, if not it should keep rea...

console question
Hello everybody, I need to transform the MIDI velocities of a track playing a Wallander Instrument into cc 7 (to control breath cc). Like this I can edit velocities (faster than editing cc7 on a note to note basis) but it will control actual breath allowing me in between velocity events to draw cres...

duplicate audio file question
Hello, I there an equivalent to Protools "duplicate" command in DP where a selected soundbite copies itself and gets pasted end to end ? I know it's possible with Option-Control-Drag but it's not easy at all when you want to do it on very very small fragments of soundbites and for a long d...
