I have imported the VSL Opus 1 library just fine. Keep in mind, though that the legato performance files will be useless to you. You need the legato performance tool which is not available for Mach5. Other than that the actual sounds translate fairly well, imo.
Don't know about the regular (larger) VSL libs.
The new VI version of the Orchestral Cube has it's own player so you don't need M5 for that.

For VSL it's best best to use it in the original sampler format. What format is it in anyway? You know VSL allow you to 'sidegrade' to another supported format fairly cheaply in which case for DP I would suggest Kontakt 2.JAYEBEATS wrote:ACTUALLY I HAVE THE BIG BUNDLE AND I WOULD LIKE TO USE IT IN MACH FIVE...BUT I DONT WANNA IMPORT EVERY SOUND IT WOULD TAKE YEARS...SO I WOULD LIKE 2 IMPORT THE PATCHES THAT I COMES WITH
Maybe that is the format you have anyway? It's good because by using K2 format (with K2 scripting) you can sidestep the need to use VSL's performance tool software which is of course necessary to play all the VSL performance patches. And K2 works great with DP.
M5 is not a supported format (nor ever will be now that 'VSL instruments' has been released) and you will end up with a lot of very weird sounding patches I'm afraid.
BTW it's seems a bit odd to buy the 'big bundle' (presumably you mean Horizon Series or Pro Edition) for use in an unsupported sampler?
Anyway I'll leave it at that
