Vanishing Audio MIDI Driver
I've been using a vintage Yamaha YS200 with DP 5.13 for several years now. The YS200 had been showing up in Audio MIDI Setup. In the least month, the YS200 has disappeared from the AMS. I checked that the Mac is receiving data from the YS200 with MIDI Monitor. I also ran a reset to see if AMS would recognize the AMS. No luck. I even attached the YS to an Ibook, and still could not bring the YS up on the AMS. Still no luck. I looked for YS200 drivers online and no luck. I also opened up archived docs that had been created using the YS. The YS selection is in italics. Could the list help? Many Thanks, Earl Using Mac Core Duo OS 10.4.11

Re: Vanishing Audio MIDI Driver
Hi EarlRShay,
From my findings online and I might be wrong, there was never a Mac driver for the YS200.
It does have the same patch/synthesis as the TX81Z though and it should work fine with the YS200.
I'm guessing you are running through an Audio/MIDI interface and if so, open AMS/MIDI Devices, Add Device, Double-click the New Device, Manufacturer/Yamaha, Model/TX81Z and then make your connections.
Hope it helps
Just noticed, you're right up the street
