I wonder if anyone has encountered the following issue I just had happen to me. After leaving my system off for a week or so, I booted up and found that my 2408mk3 will connect to the PCI424, but flashes both the 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz LEDs continuously. I can't get any sound to route through it, which seems to indicate a problem with the sample rate sync to the PCI424.
I also have a 2408 mkII that is connected to the same PCI424, and it syncs perfectly. I tried switching the firewire cables, switching the ports I plug into on the PCI424, re-seating the PCI424, all to no avail. The 2408mk3 doesn't like something about the signal.
Anyone seen this or know of a solution?

Re: 2408mk3 cannot sync to PCI424
Just an update - I spoke to MOTU tech support today and ran through some diagnostics. The box is toast - even when not connected to the audiowire, it won't pass audio through the analog ins / outs.
Shipping back to MOTU to see if they can resurrect it.
