Don't want help balloons
Now that I'm getting used to DP5, the little help balloons on the mouse-overs are just getting in the way. Is there any way to toggle them off?

You mean you actually knew that the long slider thingy was a fader BEFORE the balloon pop up told you that it was a "Fader", or that they knob on the mixing board was a pan knob without needing the "Pan" pop up balloon?
Yup, unfortunately, those damn things are there until MOTU decides to write a couple lines of code to disable them..........

That is correct. The timing in DP seems to be set by MOTU, not the OS. Thus the little terminal trick does not change it. (This topic went around a couple of months ago)

There are a lot of things in my life right now that I don't want.
Compared to them, these annoying help balloons feel positively happy and cheery.
