I am close to ordering this reverb but with no hint as to wether is is ever going to become a UB or move beyond version 1.0 is making me wait. I want to move to Macintel as soon as my NI plugs are ready.

If you get it to work, please can you make a link to a single working IR for test ?
Thanx

By the way... this was posted in another thread. Audio Damage has a cool little reverb plug for $39 called "Reverence." At that price I couldn't resist, and have played with it a bit and it's pretty decent. Definitely feels like some of the classic digital verbs.

Hey, 666, I wish I could just "supply a link to this post"!666 wrote:Please supply a link to this post. I am interested to see what Magic Dave allegedly said.monkey man wrote:Didn't Magic Dave tell us that the newer eVerb plug needs the highs rolled off a little for its presets to sound like their equivalents in previous versions?
BTW, there's nothing "alleged" about this.
I was paraphrasing Dave, as, even though my memory's photographic, it's not that good...
I do remember reading a discussion about reverb quality in which the inevitable eVerb-bashing session ensued.
Thankfully, folks started volunteering uses for it.
Magic Dave joined the discussion saying that useful results could be coaxed from eVerb if you knew how.
He emphasised the point that the presets had been re-written or reassessed or something around v4 of the plug I think.
Rolling off the highs on a newer version of the plug apparently brings it more into line with the sound of previous ones.
Consider, please, that I really wasn't that interested at the time, and therefore made no note of it.
With any luck, someone else may remember or have the link.
PS: OK, I've just spent over 40 minutes looking for it, but to no avail. Hey, at least I tried!
Sorry, 666

Hey monkey man, I recall that one too -- good paraphase, but I have NO CLUE as to how we would find that thread w/o weeding thru a lot of nonsense stuff.monkey man wrote: I was paraphrasing Dave, as, even though my memory's photographic, it's not that good...

Hey, Lava(tory) Emu-Boy
Proof in black-and-white that this monkey at least can be trusted.
Or he could have meant that space between achieving nirvana... and hitting the floor!
You gotta love our Toilet Boy.
I've got a little feeling it could've been him?
Long-shot, maybe, but you gots ta try...
No 'photo-memory jokes, OK guys?
I've not seen either of them!
Besides, you humans all look the same!
My favourite passtime.
PS: Ever tried blackjack, Dunny-Boy?
Could be a cleaner, less painful way of scoring a flush...
Good to bump into you again, Royal Doulton Boy!

I'll bet Trent is Stoked, hey?
Well, I figure if you've gotta emulate a loo, you might as well go with quality.
James Steele, nota bene. That's, "a good paraphrase".emulatorloo wrote:monkey man wrote: I was paraphrasing Dave, as, even though my memory's photographic, it's not that good...

Gee, I hope the Ablution-Block Emulation didn't mean a phase-accurate and coherent parametric EQ.emulatorloo wrote:... -- good paraphase...

I'll try searching again, this time using "Josh".emulatorloo wrote:...but I have NO CLUE as to how we would find that thread w/o weeding thru a lot of nonsense stuff.
