FW daisychaining
I have a new intel macbook which has only1 firwire jack. Will I be OK daisy chining external drives lwith my 896 interface? Does it matter where in the chain the 896 is? Sorry, I'm not as bright as I used to be!:) Or do I need a FW hub? I've not had good look with USB hubs in the past, none of the MIDI interfaces will work with any I tried.

Does FW400 read/write (aka track count) bandwidth suffer because of this? Obviously it's not a problem with a MacBook Pro since you can setup another FW bus with the card slot (how I run my PB/828mkii/Lacie D2 Drive).
