How about amplitude detection?
Why?
The same way copy and pasting pitch info from one soundbite to the other comes in handy, let's say you wanted the singer to bend the tune a certain way but he didn't really do it the way you wanted, but close, you sing the part the way you like it in a second track, copy and paste the pitch info and done. It really works.
But how about vibrato? Vibrato is a combination of pitch shift and amplitude. With pitch detection we can C/P the pitch but the amplitude stays the way it was.
So we go over to the Amplitude detection layer, copy the detected amplitude of the guide track and paste it into the solo track, now we have both pitch and amplitude and hopefully it sounds usable!

When a Track folder is closed in the Tracks window it should close in the mixer window as well...
An 'option' in the mini menu of the mixer window.
MOTU: Thank you for developing this great software: DP.
I can not see myself using any other program even if I get an entire system for free!
I wish you success until DP99 and beyond!
