DP loses VI's on new Projects

Post by denne »

Hi there

this is weird: I opend a new Project, added a VI (dfhs in this case) DP created the instrument-track with the "drummer"-plug on the A-insert, but when I doubleclick "drummer" only the small titlebar of the window pops up, but no dfhs-GUI. same with battery and GPO. I opened then older Projects with instrument tracks - everything's fine there. trashed prefs&repaired permissions but no go on new Projects.

any clues?

thx

Hello,
Yes, We have been experiencing that same thing. When we open a saved project the motu VI's sometimes come up as "missing instrument" as it is loading. It opens normal after a full reboot.
We have been having various problems (my Scale Time thread).

This will also happen if you have a [stereo] only VI bussed to a mono Audio Track (for printing). If you save and close your project like this, the next time you open it, the VI will not load, and you will lose your VI settings.
