There is a new plugin to replace it priced at about $1000 with 85% off sales. I found the old one useful as a starting point and I'm disappointed at what has happened at Harrison with the SSL takeover.

The SSL takeover was a hot mess. I’ve washed my hands of it and refuse to throw any more money at Harrison. Good money after bad.

Posting this here, because this is a popular utility and often times you have to do the check for updates thing in order to find out about updates with this utility.

Version 6.1.3:
• Eliminated a crash that could occur upon opening a file dialog when tag information in your Finder settings was corrupted or missing.

• Fixed a bug that could result in crashes when the macOS window server delivered unexpected or erroneous data.

• Correctly detect Sequoia save dialogs that include a format popup (such as when saving RTF files in TextEdit).

• Default Folder X accurately tracks recent Microsoft Word documents stored on OneDrive and Sharepoint.

• Fixed a bug that could cause crashes when closing previews of certain media files.

• The construction of Default Folder X's hierarchical menus is faster.

• Fixed a crash that could occur when quitting Default Folder X.

• You can now bring up the Quick Search window using AppleScript or Shortcuts.

• The "defaultfolderx" URL scheme can be used to bring up Default Folder X's menu, Quick Search window, Finder drawer, and settings. These URLs will work after installing version 6.1.3:

Can’t disagree. After the takeover I was optimistic and updated Mixbus to V10. It was inexpensive but since then it has been on sale for $15. Seems like an act of desperation if not a complete retreat

If you do not update, next time you go to use Melodyne, it will open your browser and direct you to the download screen—where you can update or dismiss. This drove me nuts until I realized that my version was out of date. Once I updated, that went away. This time I was proactive.

We have just released Melodyne 5.4.2. This is a free update containing, in addition to various optimizations and bug fixes, an important adaptation to macOS Sequoia.

macOS Sequoia: Previously, the function “Private Wi-Fi Address” made it necessary to reactivate Melodyne. With Melodyne 5.4.2, the function can be used free from any such inconvenience.

macOS in general: Scrolling with the trackpad has been revised and improved.

macOS in general: Changing to another program sometimes gave rise to graphic artifacts.

ARA and plug-in: Under certain circumstances, opening Melodyne could lead to a crash.

We recommend this free update to all users. It is available for download in your user account.
