DP 11.32: Anybody else notice the track selector is broken in the Mixing Board view--?

I'm noticing since I updated to DP 11.32-I'm no longer able to show/hide the track selector on the Mixing Board. I also am noticing that the display of the mixing board is glitchy and sometimes shows weird anomalies like black meter columns in random locations.

Could this be a new bug? Would love confirmation from others--and I'll report it to MOTU--

Maybe a re-install of 11.32 is in order?

PS--an observation--when the Mixing Board is separated from the main window (how I usually situate it), clicking "show/hide track selector" in the bottom left does nothing. When it occupies the bottom of the track window--not separated, click show/hide track selector brings up ONE channel strip on the far left of the main window. Not normal behavior!

I've noticed that the icon in the lower left corner of the mixer window is a tiny and indecipherable area. The track selector is a tiny little click field that I must click blindly until I luck into it. It's there, but it is barely separated from the field that resizes the window.

Yep, that’s the button. Mine has always been easily seen and clicked-I have a different theme than yours-but now clicking it does nothing-

That's got to be a bug. Is it the same for all projects?

New Finding:

turns out-like SS, I was not clicking accurately enough. Seems like the 11.32 update made this button respond a bit differently to past versions. You have to click on the "right-side" portion of the show/hide button. Very sensitive to cursor location. If you just click in the center of that button, you get nothing!

So--I guess no support ticket needed--just more careful clicking!

I think you're right that this is a fairly recent change. I doubt they deliberately said, "That track selector button is way too big, let's shrink it down and make it more of a game of chance. It'll be fun."

I do think it warrants sending either a support request or just a feedback note.

Ive noticed the odd thing that doesn't work well with some themes. I use Beyond-Black 2.4 with a few custom tweaks, made by a member here. The track selector button is quite apparent and works fine. If the theme being used is MOTU supplied, then a support is warranted.

Should be searchable here at motunation. That’s where I got it. Rick Cornish did it. Using the Google search you can find V2.3. If RIck sees this he might tell us where V2.4 is.

I'm not sure if this is a custom command I created, or, a regular command, but, I hate tiny mouse functions. I use option+command+E to access the track selector. This works on Tracks, Sequence Editor and Mixing Board.

I wouldn’t have thought that the size of the image in a theme has any effect on the clickable area. That doesn’t make much sense when you look at the package contents. But, remember when we were all complaining about the size of the velocity symbols when editing MIDI? Editing those images making them big and bright fixed that problem.

Yeah... I've reported this to MOTU. The show/hide track selector button is competing with re-size function. It's a real PITA. I made a soft key on Avid Control on my iPad for the show/hide hotkey because of this.
