I didn't have any issues there. Now I formatted both Windows 11 and 10 and they worked. However, I checked the latest updates and everything was up to date before formatting.
I wonder if something on the Windows machine zeroed something out, and when you connected to the Mac it "refreshed" the settings somehow? Totally random and dangerously uninformed musing.

Hopefully, it was a fluke and you won't be bothered with this again.
