PSP 608 MultiDelay (version 1.8.0) Failed Examination Process
Has anyone tried installing the latest version of PSP 608 MultiDelay (1.8.0)?
I installed the Intel version (AU only) and it failed DP's examination process.
It seems to work, but I thought I noticed a few weird glitches a few times. A couple of times when I had PSP Xenon opened next to it, the GUI was all black (Xenon was black, 608 looked normal.) If I deleted the 608, Xenon would work properly again.
Tried it a few times today, and it seems to works normally. Even Xenon is working properly next to it.
Just wondering if anyone has installed this and if it passes the examination process for you or not.
I've been emailing back and forth with PSP, but it would be helpful to know whether or not I'm alone on this one.
I'm still on Intel and DP 10.13. Mac OS 10.15.7.
Thank you.

I haven't had an issue with the recent update.
Sometimes, your Mac needs to be shut down completely and restarted before some plug-ins will properly register. Although I notice this more with Native Access, a few PSP effects act the same.

Thanks, Mike. I did try that two or three times, just in case. I appreciate your response.mikehalloran wrote: ↑Sun Mar 12, 2023 2:46 pm I haven't had an issue with the recent update.

Just for kicks, try a Safe Boot. If there are any corrupted System paths, this will repair them.

Thanks for that. I gave it a try but everything remains as it was. I just got the black Xenon screen again.mikehalloran wrote: ↑Sun Mar 12, 2023 3:13 pm Just for kicks, try a Safe Boot. If there are any corrupted System paths, this will repair them.

My setup is similar to your and I’ve not seen anything like this. PSP Support is fairly responsive. Maybe the quickest way to fix this is through them.

Re: PSP 608 MultiDelay (version 1.8.0) Failed Examination Process
Thanks, Bayswater, I wonder if the fact that you're using DP 11.21 has anything to do with it. I'm still on DP 10.13.
I mentioned earlier that I was in contact with PSP about this. So far, their only suggestion was to make sure my iLok License Manager was the most current version (it was). I'm not sure what that has to do with it, but I'm not a software engineer, so I just go with the suggestions.
I figured it would be good to know if anyone else had this issue. I've been wanting to do a clean install on my iMac, so maybe that will resolve it, once I'm ready to do it.
Thanks for chiming in. Every bit of input helps.

Re: PSP 608 MultiDelay (version 1.8.0) Failed Examination Process
I’ve only recently updated to V11. My experience with PSP is pretty much all using DP 9 and 10. They seem to be pretty much on top of things. I had a problem several years ago. — they said it was a known bug and send me a beta or something like that of the next version and asked if that fixed my problem.Tritonemusic wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 11:47 am.

I missed your reference to PSP support. With that reply maybe its down to trying out whatever might work. Does your page on their site show an older version you could try? If you re-installed did you use an uninstaller first?

Re: PSP 608 MultiDelay (version 1.8.0) Failed Examination Process
I'm on DP 11.21 and I'm not experiencing the issue. I did notice some weird authorization failure when installing the new 608 version, but, it's been working. I don't typically use ultrafast limiters anymore, so, hadn't opened Xenon until today, but, I can't recreate your issue.
(I had forgotten how pretty Xenon's GUI is. Just lovely.)

Re: PSP 608 MultiDelay (version 1.8.0) Failed Examination Process
I seem to recall that one of their plug-ins, in the delay family (either 608 or 285) didn't pass validation on the latest update, for one format but not all. I did not get a blank screen though.

I would try the VST versions just for kicks to see if a difference.
