Check under the word "red" in the index. Should be a simple fix.

Are your soundbites playing? Playing correctly?

What is your global sample rate?

What is the sample rate of the soundbites?

Are we talking about red outlines? Or vertical lines periodically?

Look up "clear soundbite tempo" The lines are telling you that the soundbite has a different tempo than the sequence.

If you want to get ride of them select the soundbite(s) with the red lines, and from the audio menu choose copy sequence tempo to soundbite.

Thanks guys, all of you.

"Clear sb tempo" erased the lines. (They were vertical lines, MM)

Question is: how did they get there in the first place?

If you import a soundbite, if you time compress/ expand it or change the tempo of the sequence, the soundbite will not have the same internal tempo as the sequence, this will be indicated with the red lines. If you clear the soundbite tempo or copy the sequence tempo into the sb, then they will disapear.

Mr. Steele,

As I said in my first post, no, I could not find it in my manual. Nor have I yet.

People have the option of not replying to questions that they feel is a waste their time, I believe?

Yes and you have the option of providing enough info just to reassure eveyone helping you that you are not using a pirated copy.

It's a two way street.

(and saying what version you're using etc at the start would help, too)

By having to rely on someone spelling it out in a post here when someone had ALREADY given you the SAME answer by way of a page number in the manual you end up looking like a pirate.

For example you could have said "yes, I read paragraph called '............' on page 598 but I still don't get it".

It doesn't require any great effort.
