SOLVED !Wierd Clock Problem/ MicroBook/MKIII Hybrid
Hey guys, thought I would post before I send a support ticket to Motu. In my Hardware Driver setup I have my Hybrid MKIII and MicroBookII locked together. The MKIII is the clock. I have my Motif 6 plugged into the MicroBook in line 1 and 2.All my inputs are used up in the MKIII so thats why I hooked into the MicrBook. I have had this setup for awhile now. Worked fine for me. If I needed to record the Motif it was there. I have not used it for awhile so now I am on DP 10.11 and I tried it and I am now having clock issues between the units. I then hooked a mic to the MicroBook and it had the same problem. I tried the same setup in Audio Desk and it worked fine, both Mic and Line. I went back and made the MicroBook the clock and it worked for awhile and then the clock issues again.Does anything stick out ? Thanks, a long winded one !

I did load the latest Audio driver a few months ago. I am on High Sierra. Maybe I need to dial back to the version before the latest, will give that a try.

Not the MOTU Audio system. Going to reinstall DP9 on my 3rd drive and try that.

Tried DP 9.52, older Motu Audio System. Still does not work. But Audio Desk still works with my setup. DP9 and 10 does not. Strange, I will contact MOTU.

I solved it ! I chose SPDIF for the clock and it worked! No more clock issues.

Thanks for posting your solution and marking it solved in the subject line. A courtesy that's appreciated "across the board'. Sorry, couldn't pass that one up.

I thought everyone was staying away because of Covid 19! We all have are own setups. Thanks for the reply Phil. I tried many things and it feels great to find a solution. That,s why I really value this forum. So many people are helpful and knowledgeable.
